What we are looking for at VFS
We are looking for individuals with a proven track record in fire risk assessment, who possess the necessary qualifications and experience to identify potential hazards and recommend effective mitigation strategies. Ideal candidates will have a strong understanding of fire safety regulations, risk management principles, and the ability to conduct thorough assessments in various environments, including residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
Exact details and qualifications that an ideal candidate would have:
Full compliance with Building Safety legislation, candidates applying for this role must be qualified to Level 4 Certificate in Fire Risk Assessment.
Recent experience of undertaking a similar role such as Fire Risk Surveyor, Fire Risk Assessor or Fire Safety Officer
Proven track record of conducting fire risk assessments ideally gained in the social housing or construction sector (or similar)
Good knowledge of Fire regulations including the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, legislation and current and good practice
Proven experience of working to deadlines and prioritising work loads
Working knowledge of Microsoft packages including Word, Excel and Outlook
This role will involve driving on company business insurance. In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving licence
